There is plenty of firewood lying on the ground – do not cut down any trees. There is an old water tank, however, please boil or treat water before drinking. There is an old playground and basic toilet facilities. You must take all food and supplies with you as the nearest shops are at some distance away in Oatlands and Miena and accessible only by narrow gravel roads which should be driven with care at night. They also only have limited opening hours. To get to the Dago Point campground Lake Sorell Interlaken Tasmania, first drive to the small settlement of Interlaken, app. 28 kilometres from either the Midland Highway near Tunbridge and the Lake Highway. Follow the signs, the Lake Sorell campground is app. 300 metres from the turn-off on a gravel road, that is easily accessible by 2WD vehicles.
