Free camping Bothwell, there is a very basic free roadside camping area located a short distance from the town of Bothwell. If travelling from Hobart, the overnight camping area is located on the left-hand side. This camping area is very basic and offers no facilities meaning it is suitable only for fully self-contained vehicles. It is a reasonably sized area, however, please note it isn’t that large and therefore quite close to the highway. And whilst this is not a very busy road, you will hear passing traffic. This camping area Bothwell is an alternative to the Bothwell Caravan Park. In the small town of Bothwell, you can purchase food, petrol, and other basic provisions – there is a hotel where you can purchase counter meals and alcohol. Please take care if decided to stay overnight at this location as anti-social behaviour has been reported.
